Lakota or even Lakhota is the largest of the 5 major idiom of the Sioux language. A Lakota accent is one of a big Native American language speech communities left in the United States, having approx. 8000-9000 speakers residing mostly within northern plains states of Northerly & South Dakota. Lakota is preponderantly associated by having a Teton Sioux elastic dwelling west of the Missouri Flow of any stream. A language was foremost put into written form by missionaries ca. 1840 & has since evolved to reflect contemporary needs & usage. Lakota is section of the Siouan language family.
